23/03/2026

everstead law is delighted to have advised the Hong Kong Investment Corporation (HKIC) (owned by the Government of Hong Kong) and Gobi Partners on their participation in Carsome’s latest fundraising round, which raised over US$30 million.

Carsome, Malaysia’s first tech unicorn and Southeast Asia’s largest integrated car e-commerce platform, continues to attract strong institutional backing as it advances its next phase of growth. The fundraising follows a record FY2025, marking the company’s second consecutive year of profitability, with EBITDA more than doubling to approximately US$23 million.

everstead law advised the investor consortium on the structuring and execution of the investment, working alongside Robin Lynn & Lee (in collaboration with DFDL) and Harneys on this multi-jurisdiction cross-border transaction.
