Tokyo-listed YAMADA Consulting Group (TSE:6392) has rationalised its group operations in Asia with the establishment of YAMADA Consulting Group Asia Pte. Ltd., as its regional headquarters in Singapore. This comes after the successful acquisition and integration of Spire Research and Consulting back in 2016.

With the integration comes a new brand and consolidated identity, “YAMADA Consulting & Spire“, which will be used across Asia (excluding China), under which the YAMADA Group will provide diversified and quality consulting services to Japanese companies expanding into the region.

Our Principal, Jeremiah Huang, advised, structured and led the project out of Singapore, instructing counsels from, amongst others, Khaitan & Co (India), Roosdiono & Partners (Indonesia) and KPMG Law (Vietnam). The project involved the establishment of new entities, closure of old ones, and intragroup transfers of business and employees (necessitating special regulator/ministry approval in some cases).
